Fluid Power Move To New Premises
Increased
Production At The Scotland Based Company Results In Move
In late June 1999
Related Fluid Power (RFP) began the giant step of relocating their Head
Office and manufacturing facility to a new purpose built factory at Cupar
in Fife, Scotland.
The
move, to a site 15,000 sq. ft larger, was needed due to expansion of the
company and the need to increase production capabilities in a competitive
market.
After three months
at the new site things have started to settle down and the company is
expecting to see growth with new larger clients. Jonathan Spittle, Director
at RFP says: "The move has gone as well as it could have, and looks
like being a great success. I'd like to thank all our employees for their
continual hard work and support, particularly over the past few months,
we can now all look forward to bigger and better times."
This new facility
will allow RFP, who have 24 years experience within the industry, to continue
their investment in Design, Manufacture, Assembly, Testing and Sales.
The company will also continue to strive for complete satisfaction, which
has helped them become one of the most respected hydraulic manufacturing
companies in the country.
Already
the company has increased its machining capacity by installing a new CNC
Twin Pallet Horizontal Machining Centre along with a new surface grinder.
Both machines will enable the company to continue its aim of supplying
both large and small Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM's) with custom
and standard hydraulic valve assemblies on a short lead time basis.
The increase in storage
and materials handling capacity will also allow RFP to increase and improve
its "off-the-shelf" sales of standard hydraulic valves and controls
to provide OEM's and other hydraulic companies with ex-stock products.
To achieve complete
customer satisfaction the company also provides worldwide technical support
on all their products and is represented by the DCA sales team.
