April. The C1000 offers a complete solution for hydraulic datalogging in industrial applications. The C1000 is configured
to the user's requirements, can accept upto 28 inputs and is capable of measuring flow, speed, pressure, & temperature as
well as custom analogue quantities such as torque. Results can be logged, displayed and printed as text and graphical
reports. The C1000 features ViscoCorrect (R) automatic viscosity correction, allowing flow to be measured ,ore accurately

New CNC turning centre adds an extra dimension.
As part of Webtecs program of continuous development Webtec Engineering, the manufacturing arm of
Webtec Products Ltd, have taken delivery of a new-state-of-the-art 7-axis CNC turning centre. As the
requirements of their customers and hence their products change, so must their manufacturing capability.
The new turning-centre will allow Webtec to more rapidly machine intricate parts, to high tolerances,
as complete items, enabling them to maintain prices while improving technology.
The Nakamura Tome WT250 lathe features two spindles, with two independant 12 station turrets (all
positions will accept driven tooling). The right hand turret has both an X & Y axes. The machine went into
full operation in January 2000 and has now been producing parts for almost a month.

Changes at Webtec that will help you - the customer.
Webtec have manufactured and distributed two main product lines for over 25 years. During this period their
range of
hydraulic components and their range of hydraulic test equipment have been marketed under the
business names
Webtec Hydraulics and Webster Instruments respectively. As demand has increased, more and
more customers have bought products from both ranges, creating unnecessary work and somtimes leading to confusion.
Webtec therefore no longer use seperate business names with their own letterheads, invoices etc, all transactions will be under
the Webtec name. The Webster Instruments business name will no longer be used in the UK, but "Webster"
will still be kept
as a product name for the range of hydraulic test equipment. Similarly "Webtec" will be kept as
the product name for the range of hydraulic components.
